Columbia Heights & Meridian Hill Development
New Condos and Townhouses

Active Columbia Heights Development

Columbia Heights has been one of the most active northwest DC neighborhoods in terms of new development over the past decade. Most of the more recent projects have been infill due to neighborhood housing density. Meridian Hill has been undergoing a transformation the past five years with the redevelopment of the 14th Street Corridor along with new development projects in Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan. The latest project is 2300 16th, the controversial Meridian International redevelopment at Meridian Hill Park. Park View has seen a good deal of new development during the last ten years, primarily infill and small to mid-size condo and townhouse projects. Here are the most recent new condo projects in Columbia Heights, Meridian Hill Park and Park View:
Park View has seen a significant uptick in condominium and apartment development the past decade with the redevelopment of Georgia Avenue and neighboring Columbia Heights. First developed in the 1960’s, Park View was named for its views of the Old Soldiers’ Home. Park View’s boundaries run roughly from the Soldiers’ Home and MedStar Hospital on the east, Georgia Avenue on the north, Harvard Street to the south and Sherman Avenue to the west.

ACTIVE MERIDIAN HILL DEVELOPMENT

Meridian Hill bridges Dupont Circle and Columbia Heights with new infill development projects, both ground-up new construction and condo conversions. The neighborhood is densely populated with rowhouses and apartment buildings built in the early 1900’s to mid-1940’s. Associated with the Columbia Heights neighborhood, Meridian Hill is  bordered by 15th and 16th Street to the west and Euclid Street approximately 1.5 miles directly north of the White House.
