New Condos in Shaw DC

Active Shaw Development

Shaw development has been in high gear for over then years and still going strong. New condos, apartments, retail and commercial projects abound in the once gritty, now artsy neighborhood. The Whitman and The Nine blazed trails that led to chic boutique projects like 925 M and Huntress Coal Oil on Blagden Alley. In 2015, Atlantic Plumbing essentially created a new micro-neighborhood, North Shaw, with high-end condos and trendy retail. North Shaw has since seen robust growth with new residential, retail and restaurants. The U Street Corridor in Shaw is undergoing a significant transformation that began a decade ago and is expected to continue for another. Mount Vernon Triangle is generally associated with Shaw. It, too, has experienced radical redevelopment over the past decade. Large residential, hospitality and retail projects have given the area a complete make-over. Truxton Circle, another micro-neighborhood in the Shaw-Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood, is wedged between Shaw and Eckington. Truxton Circle has seen many boutique condo conversions and infill projects over the past decade.
