Why Do I Need An Agent, Anyway?

DC real estate agents - The Isaacs Team
The Isaacs Team LLC

Why partnering with the right agent is important

Partnering with the right real estate agent can make a big difference in the outcome of your DC real estate transaction. What should you look for? We think you should find an agent who takes your real estate purchase as seriously as you do. A professional who manages the process well so you don’t have to second guess or worry. Buyer representation isn’t just about identifying listings and opening doors. A bot can do that. You should be working with an agent that understands your long and short-term goals, lifestyle, taste and budget. Someone who tells you the truth. You need to be confident that your agent acts with your best interests in mind at all times. You should feel as though your agent is a dedicated partner in your real estate transaction, not simply a transaction broker with a winning smile. In short, you’ll want what we’d want in an agent.

Less stress, more fun for you

We make house hunting a fun, efficient process. The right blend of enthusiasm and organization helps buyers achieve their goals while enjoying their transaction along the way. The strategies we’ve developed over time are constantly tweaked with market conditions so you won’t miss a thing.

There’s no substitute for first-hand knowledge. Real estate shouldn’t be a mystery. The Isaacs Team empowers you by providing information about every aspect of your transaction, educating you about neighborhoods, market values, the homes you tour, and the entire purchase process. We’ll will show you how the market really works and provide proven strategies and data, so you’ll complete your purchase as a DC real estate maven!

Your goals are our goals. Managing the home purchase process can sometimes be challenging, but our clients know we’re working hard with their interests in mind 100% of the time. Loyalty is one of the reasons The Isaacs Team does not practice single Dual Agency (representing the buyer and seller of the same property). It’s perfectly legal in the DC Metro Area and most agents do it, profiting from commissions on both sides of the transaction. But the law says in a Dual Agency situation the agent may only provide ‘ministerial services’ to both parties. That leaves out the most important aspects of representation in our view. You hire The Isaacs Team to give you 100% of our expertise, experience and skill. We’re going to deliver.

5 Star Reviews

We know our stuff! In addition to experience and expertise, we’re competitive and have a real desire to meet your objectives. It’s the reason we have real 5 star reviews on Zillow and a Trulia Top 1% agent award. We also have 5 star reviews on Yelp. In 2016 someone we never worked with left us a goofy “troll” review. We didn’t request that it be removed and we call it to your attention because we think it shows that the 100+ five start reviews we’ve received on multiple ratings websites are the real deal. We earn them.

Size And Experience Matter

We’re just right!  Our team is not too big and not too small. We have enough woman power to stay on top of your search and transaction without being so big you’re handed off to newbie assistants. We’re experienced, but not dinosaurs. Our team has 26 combined years of experience and we know that the best agents stay on top of technology, market trends and tools, and we do.  The Isaacs Team is positioned to give you and your transaction the time, focus and energy it deserves, and then some!
